Damon Crook

Damon Crook is a research entomologist and watercolor painter who resides on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, USA. He is a studied watercolor painter who simultaneously learned the techniques of watercolor painting while also completing research for this PhD. in Zoology.

He likes to show that watercolor can be as bright and vibrant as other art medias. He uses the surrounding Cape Cod sea life and insects as inspiration for most of his work. He chooses creatures big and small that are both detailed in both anatomy and color as well as pleasing to the eyes.
